This is a handout for the Cypress Creek Learning Lab, targeting students taking English Composition. This handout explains the three rhetorical appeals: logos, ethos, and pathos. I collaborated with another lab tutor where I analyzed the sample article and designed annotation of the three rhetorical appeals in said article. This helped greatly improve student preparedness and success in writing classes for several semesters.
